General availability: Azure Automation in Korea Central and West US 2 regions

Azure Automation is now available in the Azure Korea Central and West US 2 regions. These new regions give you more options for locating Automation accounts in geographic locations that work best for you.

You can use Azure Automation to create, monitor, deploy, and maintain resources in your Azure, on-premises, and partner cloud environments. And you can accomplish that by using highly scalable and reliable process execution and desired state configuration engines, update management, and change tracking and inventory.

Azure Data Factory/Azure Cosmos DB connector now supports UPSERT

The Azure Data Factory/Azure Cosmos DB connector is now integrated with the Azure Cosmos DB bulk executor library to provide the best performance.

Data Factory now supports writing to Azure Cosmos DB by using UPSERT in addition to INSERT.

You can find the configuration in the Data Factory UI both for pipeline activity authoring and for the Copy Data tool wizard. For the Azure Cosmos DB sink, you can choose upsert or insert.

Azure API Management update August 3

The latest update to Azure API Management includes these changes:

Multiple certificate authentication policies within the same scope
A certificate authentication policy helps create a mutually authenticated connection between the API Management gateway and the back-end service. You can now use multiple policies, for example, in a conditional flow policy.

Subscriptions pane in the Azure portal
You can now view and manage all subscriptions, including pending subscriptions, in a single location in the Azure portal.

New OpenAPI editor
The OpenAPI editor now uses the Monaco editor. The Monaco editor meets accessibility requirements, uses screen space more efficiently, and supports JSON and YAML formats.
